Manipulative and compelling

3 stars

Let's be honest: this is NOT a good book. It is a bit shallow and manipulative as hell. Still, I could not give it less than three stars because I had a pretty good time reading it. By the end, I was sucked in into the story so much that I literally cried. It left me with the feeling I get after watching a 3-hour Hollywood love story on a sad, sunny Sunday afternoon.
