Content warning Spoilers from the entire Reckoner series
The entire series went from average to just wanted to drop it at some points. This is the last part of the Reckoners series that handles the conclusion to an story that took two other novels to develop. I must say that the first one was the best for me, and the setting is somewhat interesting, but the main events and closure this book provided is just not worth it.
From battles taking forever, the main character drooling around every time his girlfriend joins the scene (or just talk), the absurdity of the main character powers being there for a book and a half and make the readers wait for them until -literally- almost the last chapter, ...
This last one has been an effort on our part to finish, and when we eventually did, we were disappointed (as we though we would be).
