This classic book, Alice's adventures in wonderland, is about the time Alice saw the strange White Rabbit with a waistcoat and watch. She follows the rabbit down a hole and ends up in Wonderland. Then the adventures begin with magnificent characters like Mad Hatter, the Duchess, The Mock Turtle, The Gryphon, Queen of Hearts, and the wise old caterpillar.
As such an often referenced work I was expecting there to be more inside. But in the end it's just a small children's book story without much happening. There's a surprising amount of poetry and growing and shrinking involved though.
