For me it was a nice overview about the very basic mechanisms of work and capitalism. Really liked the small stories inbetween and for the first time i've understood how the economic crisis in 2008 worked. I'd especially recommend the chapter on economic and banks, it gives a basic rundown on what certain mechanisms are and how they're called. What really bothers me though: the book is really white and has a very certain perspective on things. There's no bigger mention of race, slavery and colonialism and how it's linked to capitalism. And personally I think it's unhelpful not to mention the books and authors where the writers got their ideas from, a) because it makes fact checking and further reasearch more complicated and b) it can be disrespectful if those authors are already more marginalized.

mother of rats reads reviewed Biskaya by SchwarzRund
A pleasant read

A novel by the inspiring author SchwarzRund - it's a black queer novel about a Berlin singer songwriter with roots in Biskaya, maneuvering her queer 3-parent family history and her own emancipation as a Black woman. Really heart wrenching in the end and there's a lot of lyrics from the characters songs in the book.
It's okay

It's a nice and entertaining comic book with the majority of published Dykes To Watch Out For comics. If you like seeing the life of some liberal lesbians with all their ups and downs, it's for you. I really did not like the casual biphobia and transphobia at some places in the comic, and in the end it kinda bored me seeing them living their nuclear family life and only ranting about politicians. My favorite character: Lois. She's really cool.
Lots of interesting viewpoints

A detailed runthrough of decentering feminist discourse from white middleclass cishet women in the feminist movement. I'd say it's a good starter for anyone slowling diving into feminist theory. bell hooks writes very understandable, it's pleasent to read and there's a lot of inspiration on how to change a feminist movement.
