I find the start of Le Guin’s Earthsea books always a little bit of a struggle but they always turn out great. It happened with a the Wizard of Earthsea and it happened with the Tombs of Atuan. After the first couple of chapters you get pulled in. Le Guin’s style is more reflective than adventurous and that’s what I really love.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It makes you think and there are some really great quotes there. For example: “What she had begun to learn was the weight of liberty. Freedom is a heavy load, a great and strange burden for the spirit to undertake. It is not easy. It is not a gift given, but a choice made, and the choice may be a hard one. The road goes upward toward the light; but the laden traveler may never reach the end of it.”
Read it!
It's interesting but a little difficult to get through. I feel like it could have been made simpler and more interesting. I read a lot of science books and don't usually have trouble following. With this one, I did. The topic is interesting, though.
Cosy murder mystery

I loved this book. It narrates Greek myths from the perspectives of goddesses and female monsters. I heard it on audible and it is read by Natalie herself and she has read it brilliantly. Highly recommended!
I liked this book. It is informative, interesting and easy to read and talks about how chromosomes impact our lives and health. A good read, I recommend it.
I really do love Jodi Taylor’s St Mary’s Chronicles series. This one was absolutely fantastic, I thoroughly enjoyed it. All the loose ends were tied up in the end so I’m wondering if this was the final one in the series. I hope not!
