i enjoyed reading this book. if you have no idea about what is Sanderson's cosmere, it might be less entertaining

the narrator is Hoid, and he uses cosmere-related words often. i don't think it would block the story from enjoying the story. the finer points in understanding what (or more how things) happened might suffer a bit

the illustrations look great but as i participated in the kickstarter, i only got the electronic book (international shipping was way too prohibitive) and on the kobo it's just meh. i'll try to look them up online

(still don't know if i'm going to keep goodreads ratings, but globally “i really liked it”)

impossible to miss the narrator change from Bob to Mo. of course, all the compsci nerdiness is gone. i was not sure i was getting all the nerd jokes anyway

i wasn't completely surprised by the plot resolution but it was nicely brought. anyway i prefer obvious ending well written than some deus-ex-lapina out of a hat to try to woo the reader

disorienting at first, each chapter has a different narrator, and they are weird. when the plot develops, it gets easier to read. and the weird is good.

some plot points are easy to discover ahead of the narration but still brilliant
